Situated below Samuel’s Fortress, close to the Upper Gate on the eastern slope of the hill of Ohrid offers unforgettable view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The Antique Theatre was built about 2000 years ago. Classical plays, tragedies and comedies, were performed on its open air stage. The Antique Theatre is the largest and most attractive summer scene of the Ohrid Summer Festival.
